A. National Night Out will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017
from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Candyland Park, 599
Longdale Avenue.
B. The City of Longwood will host a Farmers Market weekly on
Sundays from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., beginning October 8,
2017 in the Historic District of Longwood located at the corner
of Ronald Reagan Boulevard and West Church Avenue. The
Market in under new management and will bring together the
highest quality, most unique, locally crafted, and locally grown
products.
C. The City of Longwood will host the “Downtown Longwood
Food Trucks” on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 5:30 p.m.
until 8:30 p.m. at the corner of Ronald Reagan Boulevard and
West Church Avenue.
D The “Downtown Longwood Cruise-In” Car Show will be held
on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
in the Historic District of Longwood located off of Church
Avenue.

A. Presentation of the Beautification Award to the Heritage
Business Center on State Road 434.
B. Recognizing Lyman High School Students for earning a
Perfect Score on the Florida State Assessment Test.

Incorporated for information technology managed services.
D. Approval to waive the formal procurement procedures and
approve a purchase order in the amount of $40,000 to BMS
Direct for utility billing services.

Any invocation that is offered before the official start of the Commission meeting shall be the voluntary offering of a
private person, to and for the benefit of the Commission. The views or beliefs expressed by the in vocation speaker
have not been previously reviewed or approved by the Commission or the city staff, and the City is not allowed by law
to endorse the religious beliefs or views of this, or any other speaker. Persons in attendance at the City Commission
meeting are invited to stand during the opening invocation and Pledge of Allegiance. However, such invitation shall
not be construed as a demand, order, or any other type of command. No person in attendance at the meeting shall be
required to participate in any opening invocation that is offered. You may exit the City Commission Chambers and
return upon completion of the opening invocation if you do not wish to participate in or witness the opening invocation.
