PROCLAMATIONS / RECOGNITIONS A. Proclaiming the City of Longwood Election for the purpose of a Referendum – March 15, 2016. B. District #1 Presentation of the Business Person of the Month Award for January 2016 to Mr. Jonathan Wolf, Founder and President of Wendover Housing Partners, located at 1105 Kensington Park Drive, Altamonte Springs, Florida, 32714. C. Presentation of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Good Citizenship Award to Ms. Ardel Cheffer. D. Presentation of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Good Citizenship Award to the Honorable Robert Cortes. E. Presentation of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Good Citizenship Award to Mr. Leonard Nolan. F. Presentation of the 2nd Annual Citizens on Patrol Christmas Parade Winners. 6. BOARD APPOINTMENTS A. Approve the Monthly Expenditures for December 2015. C. Approve the Monthly Financial Report for December 2015. D. Acceptance of Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2015 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Direct Program Funding in the amount of $2,887. E. Approval of a purchase order in the amount of $25,000 to HD Supply Waterworks for infraMap Software designed for data collection and mapping of Citywide water systems and functions. F. Approval to purchase an E32 T4 Bobcat Compact Excavator and authorize issuance of a purchase order in the amount of $40,472 to Clark Equipment Company, dba Bobcat Company. 11. PUBLIC HEARINGS A. Read by title only, set February 1, 2016 as the second public hearing date, and approve the first reading of Ordinance No. 15-2080, amending the Regulating Map of the Heritage Village Urban Code for 355 North Ronald Reagan Boulevard. CC 01-18-16/3 12. REGULAR BUSINESS A. City Commission to hear a request from Freda Realty, Inc. to mitigate a Code Enforcement Lien in the amount of $5,650 on the property located at 533 Winding Oak Drive. B. Read by title only, set February 1, 2016 as the public hearing day and approve the first reading of Ordinance No. 15-2083, annexing and amending the corporate limits of the City of Longwood to fulfill an application for annexation by Oakwood Construction and Development LLC. C. Read by title only and adopt Resolution No. 16-1393, confirming the City of Longwood’s Support for Innovative Traffic Signal Technologies Pilot Project. D. However, such invitation shall not be construed as a demand, order, or any other type of command. No person in attendance at the meeting shall be required to participate in any opening invocation that is offered. You may exit the City Commission Chambers and return upon completion of the opening invocation if you do not wish to pa rticipate in or witness the opening invocation.
