A. Senior Matinee will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2015
from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., Longwood Community
Building, 200 West Warren Avenue, This month’s feature is
The Best of Me.
B. A Bunny Breakfast will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2015
from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., Longwood Community
Building, 200 West Warren Avenue. Adults are $7.50 each,
children from ages 3 to 11 years old are $5.50 each and
children from age 2 and under are free.
C. The 2015 Magic 107.7 Easter Egg Hunt will be held on
Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Reiter
Park, 311 West Warren Avenue.
D. Registration for the Longwood Summer Camp will begin on
Wednesday, April 1, 2015 for Longwood Residents only and on
Wednesday, April 8, 2015 for Non-Residents. Registration
forms will be accepted from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at
Longwood Elementary School, 840 Orange Avenue.
5. PROCLAMATIONS / RECOGNITIONS
A. District #1 Presentation of the Business Person of the Month
Award for March 2015 to Mr. Michael R. Blickenstaff, Funeral
Director/Owner of Tri-County Cremation and Funeral Home,
located at 190 South Ronald Reagan Boulevard, #116.
B. Fire Chief to recognize Mr. Jim O’Neill of Longwood Kia with
the Good Samaritan Award for Lifesaving.

A. Presentations. Dr. E. Ann McGee, President of Seminole State
College, to present framed photo commemorative for 50th
Anniversary.
McDirmit, Davis & Company, LLC will be
giving a presentation on the Annual Audit for the Fiscal Year
Ended September 30, 2014.

10. CONSENT AGENDA
A. Approve Minutes of the March 2, 2015 Regular Meeting.
B. Approve the Monthly Expenditures for February and March
2015.
C. Approve the Monthly Financial Report for February 2015.
D. Approve a donation in the amount of $2,000 to Boys Town
Central Florida from the police confiscation fund to assist with
operations of Common Sense Parenting Classes in Seminole
County.
E. Approve a donation in the amount of $4,000 to Kids House of
Seminole from the police confiscation fund to help the City of
Longwood’s abused and neglected children and their families.
F. Approve a donation in the amount of $1,000 to SafeHouse of
Seminole from the police confiscation fund to help victims of
domestic violence and their children.
G. Approve a donation in the amount of $1,500 to Senior
Intervention Group from the police confiscation fund to assist
victims and potential victims of crimes against the elderly in
Seminole County.
H. Approve a donation in the amount of $1,000 to Seminole
County Bar Association Legal Aid Society, Inc. from the police
confiscation fund to help provide free legal services to indigent

victims of domestic violence, disabled children, veterans and
the elderly.
I. Approval of the Longwood Club Private Streets Traffic
Enforcement Agreement in accordance with F.S.S. 316.003 (2)
(b).
J. Approve a purchase order in the amount of $45,000 to
Advanced Data Processing, Inc., a Subsidiary of Intermedix
(ADPI), for ambulance transport billing and related
professional services.
K. Acceptance of the Annual Audit for the Fiscal Year Ended
September 30, 2014.
L. Approve a purchase order in the amount of $104,436 to
acquire four (4) 2015 Ford Police Interceptor Utility Vehicle
Platforms.
M. Approve a donation in the amount of $750 to Milwee Middle
school from the police confiscation fund to support vocational
training for students.
11. PUBLIC HEARINGS
A. Read by title only and adopt Ordinance No. 15-2058,
approving the extension of the Non-Exclusive Franchises for
the Collection of Commercial Solid Waste and/or Recovered
Materials for an additional six (6) months.
B. City Commission to hear a public request for Special
Exception (SPE 03-15), from Mr. Christopher Dorworth of
CED Strategies, LLC for a reduction to the side setback and an
allowance for eight flag lots for Treasure Hill a 44-unit
residential subdivision.
12. REGULAR BUSINESS
A. Approval to enter into a contract with CGI Communications
for the development of Website Videos.
B. Approval of the funding of up to $75,000 for salaries and
benefits of six (6) Firefighter/Paramedic Positions while
pending SAFER Grant approval.
C. Approval of a Purchase Sale Agreement with Habitat for
Humanity of Seminole County and Greater Apopka for City-
Owned Property Known as Longwood Townhomes.

D. Approval for a waiver of Water and Sewer fees for Oakwood
Construction and Development LLC.
E. Read by title only, set April 6, 2015 as the public hearing date,
and approve the first reading of Ordinance No. 15-2057, which
proposes approval of a Small Scale Comprehensive Plan
Amendment (SPA 01-15) to the Future Land Use Map,
changing the land use designation on the Future Land Use
Map of the Comprehensive Plan from County Medium Density
Residential (MDR) to City Medium Density Residential
(MDR).

required to participate in any opening invocation that is offered. You may exit the City Commission Chambers and
return upon completion of the opening invocation if you do not wish to participate in or witness the opening invocation.
