The “Downtown Longwood Cruise-In” Car Show will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Historic District of Longwood located off of Church Avenue. B. Senior Matinee will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., Longwood Community Building, 200 West Warren Avenue. This month’s feature is The Imitation Game. 5. PROCLAMATIONS / RECOGNITIONS A. Proclaiming May 10 thru 16, 2015, as Police Week and May 15, 2015 as Peace Officers Memorial Day in the City of Longwood. B. Proclaiming April 7, 2015, as National Service Recognition Day. C. Nomination of the Beautification Award. 6. BOARD APPOINTMENTS 7. PUBLIC INPUT A. Presentation. CC 04-06-15/2 9. ANY ADDITIONS OR DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA 10. CONSENT AGENDA A. Approve Minutes of the March 16, 2015 Regular Meeting. B. Approve the Monthly Expenditures for February and March 2015. C. Approve a purchase order in the amount of $12,960 to Executime Software for a cloud-based time keeping system. D. Approve a purchase order in the amount of $34,666 to equip four (4) 2015 Ford Police Vehicles. E. City Commission to confirm the appointment of Mrs. Lisa Snead as the Director of Financial Services at an initial annual salary of $80,000 with an increase to $84,000 after serving an initial six (6) month probation. 11. PUBLIC HEARINGS A. Read by title only, hold the first public hearing, set April 20, 2015 as the final public hearing date, and approve the first reading of Ordinance No. 14-2049, regarding the Heritage Village Urban Code and the Historic District Code Book, to allow off-site gateway signage and amend standards for outdoor seating. B. Read by title only and adopt Ordinance No. 15-2057, which proposes approval of a Small Scale Comprehensive Plan Amendment (SPA 01-15) to the Future Land Use Map, changing the land use designation on the Future Land Use Map of the Comprehensive Plan from County Medium Density Residential to City Medium Density Residential. 12. REGULAR BUSINESS A. Acceptance of East Maine Court Right-of-Way Conveyance from Freyman Holdings, LLC. B. Approval of an Amendment to the Purchase Sale Agreement with Habitat for Humanity of Seminole County and Greater Apopka for City-Owned Property known as Longwood Townhomes for the purpose of extending the closing date. 13. Persons in attendance at the City Commission meeting are invited to stand during the opening invocation and Pledge of Allegiance. However, such invitation shall not be construed as a demand, order, or any other type of command. No person in attendance at the meeting shall be required to participate in any opening invocation that is offered. You may exit the City Commission Chambers and return upon completion of the opening invocation if you do not wish to participate in or witness the opening invocation.
