SILENT MEDITATION FOLLOWED BY THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 3. COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENTS A. The “Downtown Longwood Cruise-In” Car Show will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Historic District of Longwood located off of Church Avenue. B. Senior Matinee will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., Longwood Community Building, 200 West Warren Avenue. This month’s feature is Ocean’s Eleven. 4. PROCLAMATIONS/ RECOGNITIONS A. Nomination and selection of the recipient of the Martin Luther King Good Citizenship Award (Presentation scheduled for January 20, 2014). B. District #3 Presentation of the Business Person of the Month Award for January 2014 to Jose Cajigas and Wilfredo Rodriguez Owners of JF Salon at 1152 West State Road 434. 5. BOARD APPOINTMENTS A. District #4 Nomination to the Land Planning Agency. B. District #2 Nomination to the Board of Adjustment. 6. PUBLIC INPUT A. Public Participation. 7. MAYOR AND COMMISSIONERS’ REPORT Districts #5, #1, #2, #3 and #4. 8. ANY ADDITIONS OR DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA CC 01-06-14/2 9. CONSENT AGENDA A. Approve Minutes of the December 16, 2013 Regular Meeting. B. Approve the Monthly Expenditures for December 2013. C. Approve a bid award and purchase order in the amount of $367,300 to McMahan Construction Co. Inc., for well and electrical improvements for Well 5B. 10. PUBLIC HEARINGS A. Read by title only and adopt Ordinance No. 13-2020, amending Article III, Chapter 38 (Noise) of the Longwood City Code to allow for expanded construction hours. B. Read by title only and adopt Ordinance No. 13-2021 which provides for a multi-year lease with Ricoh USA Inc. for various printers, black and white copiers, color copiers and scanners. C. Read by title only and adopt Ordinance No. 13-2022, amending Chapter 30, “Elections” of the City of Longwood Code of Ordinances to add a new section 30-13 requiring electronic filing of campaign treasurer’s reports with the Seminole County Supervisor of Elections Office’s Electronic Filing System. 11. REGULAR BUSINESS A. Consider waiving or reducing the rental fees at the Longwood Community Building for Evelyn Cohen’s retirement party to be held on April 4, 2014 for four (4) hours, she works in the Utility Billing Division of the Finance Department. 12.
