A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A FEE SCHEDULE FOR
RECREATIONAL/COMMUNITY FACILITIES, SPECIAL EVENTS AND
THE LEISURE SERVICES DEPARTMENT; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 50-62, City of Longwood Code of Ordinances provides for the adoption of a
fee schedule via resolution by the City Commission for all recreation/community facilities; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 58, City of Longwood Code of Ordinances provides for the City Commission
to establish various fees relating to special events; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Longwood has determined the amendment and
adoption of the fee schedules set forth in this Resolution are equitable and appropriate and are
in the best interest of the City;
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Longwood, Florida, as
follows:
SECTION I: In accordance with Chapter 50, Article III, City of Longwood Code of Ordinances, the
following schedule of fees for all recreation/community facilities is hereby adopted:
Exclusive Reserved Use of Athletic/Park Facility Fee
Ball field rental, 9am-5pm $30.00 per hour
Ball filed rental, 5pm-10pm $40.00 per hour
Batting cage $10.00 per hour
Bullpen $10.00 per hour
Field Preparation $20.00 per game
Picnic pavilion, half day (9am-1pm; 2pm-6pm) $20.00 per hour
Picnic pavilion, full day $40.00 per hour
Futsal court, 9am-5pm $15.00 per hour
Futsal court, 5pm-10pm $25.00 per hour
Tennis court, 8am-5pm $2.00 per hour
Tennis court, 5pm-10pm $4.00 per hour

Community Building Fee
Primetime Rate (Friday through Sunday and holidays) $230.00 per hour
Non-Primetime Rate (Monday through Thursday) $110.00 per hour
Employee Rate $80.00 per hour
Damage Deposit $250.00 per hour
Bridal and Groom's suite (upstairs) $200.00
Audio/visual equipment rental $50.00
Attendant $25.00 per hour
Reiter Park Pavilions Fee
Small pavilion for half day (4 hours) $35.00 for 4 hours
Small pavilion for a full day (8 hours) $65.00 for 8 hours
Large pavilion for half day (4 hours) $55.00 for 4 hours
Large pavilion for whole day (8 hours) $85.00 for 8 hours
Reiter Park Large Amphitheater Stage Fee
Four (4) hour rental combined with same day Comm Bldg rental $350.00 for 4 hours
Additional hourly rate for 4 hour rental block with Comm Bldg rental $87.50 per hour
Four (4) hour rental of stage only $600.00 for 4 hours
Additional hourly rate for 4 hour rental block of stage only $150.00 per hour
Eight (8) hour rental combined with same day Comm Bldg rental $700.00 for 8 hours
Additional hourly rate for 8 hour rental block with Comm Bldg rental $87.50 per hour
Eight (8) hour rental of stage only $1,200.00 for 8 hours
Additional hourly rate for 8 hour rental block of stage only $150.00 per hour
Damage Deposit $100.00 refundable
AV equipment rental $50.00 one-time fee

Four (4) hour rental combined with same day Comm Bldg rental $250.00 for 4 hours
Additional hourly rate for 4 hour rental block with Comm Bldg rental $62.50 per hour
Four (4) hour rental of stage only $500.00 for 4 hours
Additional hourly rate for 4 hour rental block of stage only $125.00 per hour
Eight (8) hour rental combined with same day Comm Bldg rental $500.00 for 8 hours
Additional hourly rate for 8 hour rental block with Comm Bldg rental $62.50 per hour
Eight (8) hour rental of stage only $1,000.00 for 8 hours
Additional hourly rate for 8 hour rental block of stage only $125.00 per hour
Damage Deposit $100.00 refundable
AV equipment rental $50.00 one-time fee
Maintenance Fee for Amphitheater Stage Rental
A proposed maintenance fee of $50.00 would be included in the small and large amphitheater
stage rental fee which could be designated for the upkeep and maintenance of the park. This
would not be an additional fee, but would be built into the total for each amphitheater stage
rental.

SECTION II: In accordance with Chapter 58, City of Longwood Code of Ordinances, the following
schedule of fees are adopted for Special Events:

Performance Bond $500.00
Attendance based (less than 10 vendor booths:
Up to 10,000 $250.00 per day
10,000 to 40,000 $500.00 per day
40,000 to 80,000 $750.00 per day
80,000 and more $1,000.00 per day
Attendance/concession based (more than 10 but less than 50 vendor booths:
Up to 10,000 $100.00 per day, $15.00/booth (1-time)
10,000 to 40,000 $350.00 per day, $15.00/booth (1-time)
40,000 to 80,000 $600.00 per day, $15.00/booth (1-time)
80,000 and more $8500.00 per day, $15.00/booth (1-time)
Concession based (more than 50 booths) $25.00 per booth
Class B $100.00 per day
Class C $50.00 per day
*Police fees *Public Works/Leisure Services fees
*Fire and EMS fees *Equipment
*Actual hourly cost with benefits. Minimum of 4 hours.
SECTION III: Waiver. The City Commission may waive fees established by this Resolution or any
portion thereof, if the Commission deems such waiver in the best interest of the City.
SECTION IV: Severability. If any portion of this Resolution is determined to void,
unconstitutional, or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction,the remainder of this Resolution
shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION V: Conflicts. This Resolution is intended to replace the previously adopted Resolution
No. 18-1471 setting the fees and charges addressed herein. In the event of any conflicts between
this Resolution and any other resolutions or policies, this Resolution shall control to the extent
of the conflict.
SECTION VI: Appendix. The fee schedules set forth in this Resolution shall be incorporated into
the appropriate appendix or appendixes, if applicable.
SECTION VII: Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
